Plater/Welder - 2 vacancies.

We require self motivated individuals that can work on their own and as part of a small team of 9 employees.
The jobs are mainly as platers fabricating agricultural machinery. A small amount is jig work but mainly building from drawings.
We work with mild steel mainly between 6mm and 25mm.
Most plate is profiled to suit but we do require some material to be cut, punched, folded etc.
Wages are negotiable but a guide is between £8.50 and £10 per hour. As much overtime as you want is available between May and mid September (also some overtime throughout the rest of the year) and is paid at time plus one third.

Office Administrator

We also have an opening for an Office Administrator, 30 hours per week to assist with general office duties and sales enquiries.
Applicant must have

  • good telephone manner
  • experience of word and excel
  • English and Maths GCSE grade A-C
  • Agricultural background would be preferable
  • May lead to a sales role if the candidate is suitable
